*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to work on every other Saturday to start moving on to every Saturday in the future.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists/hygienist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice.
This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
*Duties*
* Assist the Hygienist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials.
* Ensure that the treatment room is clean, organised, and equipped with necessary supplies.
* Manage the autoclaves and the decontamination room.
* Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
* Manage appointment schedules and follow up with patients regarding treatment plans.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations.
*Skills*
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and using dental software.
* Strong command of English for effective communication with patients and team members.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience as a nurse required
* Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
* A commitment to providing exceptional patient care while working collaboratively within a team.
