Following a series of significant acquisitions, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Accountant to join their team at their state-of-the-art offices in South Manchester.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will take a lead role in the financial reporting process at group level, ensuring successful group reporting and consolidations are completed.

What you'll do: Perform finance activities for head office entities and group consolidation.
Establish and maintain a robust intercompany process on a new finance system.
Provide support and coordination through audit and statutory accounts processes.
Ensure best practice adherence in financial reporting, data integrity, and group policy compliance.
Support integration of acquired entities and acquisition accounting when required.
Drive improvement and automation of processes.
What you bring: Qualified accounting professional (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Strong technical financial accounting & reporting ability.
Strong understanding of financial systems and analytical tools.
Keen eye for detail balanced with an ability to step back and see the bigger picture.
Proven ability to deliver under pressure.
Excellent communication skills - comfortable interacting across all levels of the business.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable.
